The thickener bed level monitoring system includes a host, rotary table structure, cables, detection probes and cleaning systems, etc., installed at the top of the thickener. The cables are wrapped around the rotary table structure as a whole and one end of the cable is connected to the detection probe. The host controls the rotation of the rotary table structure to input/lift the cables, thereby controlling the position of the detection probe inside the thickener. The detection probe uses an ultrasonic probe to emit ultrasonic signals at different positions in the thickener. Due to the different densities of the media in each layer of the thickener, the effect of the emitted ultrasonic signals will also be different. The host analyzes the differences in the echo signals received by the ultrasonic probe at different positions to determine the positions of the interface between each layer. In addition, there is a cleaning system installed on the top of the thickener, which cleans the detection probe every time one or several detection cycles are completed to avoid scarring and affect measurement accuracy.
Input measurement: The detection probe is placed inside the thickener, and the emitted ultrasonic signal directly interacts with the various layers of media inside the thickener, without being affected by tank scarring.
Accurate measurement: The detection probe can be cleaned by a cleaning system after one or several detection cycles to prevent scarring of the detection probe from affecting the measurement results.
High measurement accuracy: The host uses a high-precision servo motor to control the rotation of the turntable, so that the distance between the detection probe input and lifting is within 1cm, ensuring high-precision measurement.
Production continuity: Installing and debugging equipment without stopping the machine will not affect production continuity.
