Principle

The CGR8X00 series guided wave radar level meter is an electromagnetic wave ranging system based on the principle of time travel. The 1GHz low-power electromagnetic wave signal emitted by the instrument probe propagates at the speed of light along the detection component (probe rod or detection cable). When electromagnetic waves come into contact with the surface of the measured substance, they are reflected back due to a sudden change in dielectric constant. The reflected electromagnetic wave propagates along the detection component and returns to the instrument probe. The time interval between the emission and reception of electromagnetic waves is directly proportional to the distance between the instrument probe and the measured medium, and thus the distance between the instrument probe and the surface of the measured medium can be calculated.

Advantage

The CGR8X00 series guided wave radar level meter breaks international monopoly and is the first guided wave radar with interface measurement function.

It can be used for interface measurement of three-phase separators and mixed liquids, as well as conventional liquid level and solid measurement.

Guided wave radar developed by RETTAR has a max pressure resistance of 40MPa and a max temperature resistance of 450 ℃. It has temperature compensation and steam compensation functions.
